Located in the Mecca of beer and board culture, beautiful Bend, Oregon, Aspect Boards and Brews (formerly Aspect Board Shop) expands their business and building to include 12 taps and an outdoor beer garden at their site on Galveston Ave. Aspect began pouring the fermented nectar that has put Bend on the map for its microbrewing culture on August 1, alongside their specially selected stock of skateboards, longboards, snowboards and accessories.

Aspect Boards and Brews expansion highlights:

  • NEW 200 SQ. FT. taproom with roll-up service window.
  • AND 12 TAPS – 10 taps reserved for local beers, 1 for cider, and 1 for a domestic.
  • NEW 440 SQ. FT. patio on pavers – Gas lines underneath pavers will allow for the addition of fire pits in the winter for an outdoor après ski experience.
  • LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION –Whether coming off of the river, the mountain, or hanging out on Bend’s vibrant Westside, you will find your next brew at Aspect!
  • COMMUNITY – One beer will be tapped for a portion of the proceeds to be donated to a local skateboard or snowboard project.

In addition to the expansion of the building and the creation of the beer garden, owner Katie Patterson says the roof and siding have been replaced and some reconfiguring has been done to update the shop. Patterson purchased Aspect in 2008 after having managed the shop for several years prior.
