Banff, AB – October 21, 2014: CMH Heli-Skiing, the world’s largest and longest serving heli-ski operator, unveiled its first ever one day experiences to explore the epic Revelstoke terrain in the heart of the Columbia Mountains.

The new three and five run packages will enable powder enthusiasts to experience deep snow with big, open alpine runs, glacier terrain and stellar tree skiing in the Monashees and Selkirks from December 27, 2014 through January 3, 2015. The new one day trips cater to both first-time heli skiers and riders, and vertical hungry veterans looking to experience the expansive terrain.

“As we celebrate 50 years of heli-skiing, we wanted to provide a new and unique offering that enables visitors to explore some of most sought-after powder skiing on the globe,” begins Joe Flannery, President of CMH.  “These limited time trips, taking place over the upcoming holiday season, are a great way to experience heli-skiing for the first time or combine the experience with additional days in the mountains.”

CMH’s day heli-skiing packages will accommodate groups up to 11 skiers or riders along with fully certified mountain guides to allow easy access into the epic terrain and expansive wilderness.

With over three million skiable acres of terrain hand-selected by the company’s founder, Hans Gmoser, in the 1960’s, CMH celebrates its fast-approaching 50th anniversary of heli-skiing in the Columbia Mountains
