copper-snowfall-september-2014

Just past a week into the month of September and we are already seeing snowfall come down in our backyard and the great state of Colorado. Today, we got some amazing shots from Copper Mountain as the first dusting of snow hit Copper Mountain with additional snow in and around the area.

As noted by Copper Mountain, “A dusting appeared near the Excelerator and Storm King lifts as well as on the peaks surrounding the resort.” Great news for those of you feening to get out and shred.

But this isn’t the first snowfall we’ve heard of this year. Just last week Jackson Hole Mountain Resort reported it was getting slammed with snow (and by slammed we mean for the time of year).

So, keep your fingers crossed as we are hearing word from our good friends at opensnow.com that the end of the week could see some accumulation throughout Colorado and surrounding areas.
