Winter sports startup, Phunkshun Wear, has packed up its sewing machines and moved to Denver, Colorado. The 6,800 square foot warehouse features a state-of-the-art heat transfer roller press, a fabric spreading table and an enhanced sewing room. Phunkshun specializes in facemasks and balaclavas that maximize protection and warmth without sacrificing breathability or comfort. Each facemask is hand-sewn in the new Denver facility and comes in a variety of color ways.

“The decision to move the Phunkshun Wear offices and manufacturing from Silverthorne to Denver was one out of necessity,” said Jason Badgley, CEO of Phunkshun Wear. “Workforce options on the Front Range are significantly more abundant than the high country, especially in regards to our skilled labor.”

New for this year, a portion of every mask sold is donated to the High Fives Foundation, a Tahoe-Based National 501.c.3 Non-Profit dedicated to raising money and awareness for athletes that suffer a life altering injury while pursuing their dream in the winter action sports community.
