The Little Things’ goal is to use snowboarding and the stories of proactive athletes as a vector to inspire positive change. Through their stories, we hope to showcase what each of them are doing personally to help secure the same lifestyle and quality of life that we have for the future generations. Beyond the on-point riding, the action follows Marie-France Roy’s hand-built cob-house on Vancouver Island to the sustainable homes of Mikey Basich and Jonavon Moore. You’ll journey along with Jeremy Jones’s backcountry explorations and his work with Protect Our Winters (POW) and you’ll hear the wisdom of Gretchen Bleiler and the wise words of scientist David Suzuki. Be prepared to be blown away by Tamo Campos, the founder of Beyond Boarding, and his humanitarian efforts in the Sacred Headwaters, and how he’s splitboarded around BC in a school-bus that runs on veggie oil waste. See the other side of snowboarding as First Nations, Haida descendant, Meghann O’Brien speaks openly about her personal journey away from riding as a professional in order to learn the craft of weaving from her ancestors.
