Blair McKinney

DROP, a leading snowboard accessories developer based in Essex Junction, Vermont and Southern California, proudly announces the latest addition to its 2015/16 team roster: Blair McKinney.

McKinney joins the glove maker’s international team of athletes in representing the line’s “inspired by the city, made for the snow” collection and aesthetic. Based right in between the shadows of Whistler’s peaks and Vancouver’s high rises in Squamish, BC, McKinney is a well rounded rider that can handle any terrain, from street rails to backcountry booters. His last few video parts with the Jibberish crew (Simon Chamberlain, JP Walker etc.) and an annual invite to Jeremy Jones, JP Walker and Seth Huot’s ‘The Spot’ are more than a testament to his skills.

“Blair’s got a great attitude, an even better work ethic and he really elevated his riding to the next level in his latest full part. We couldn’t be happier about adding him to the team.” – Chris Gougeon, Senior Designer

Currently McKinney is traveling and filming with industry icon JP Walker on a new project focused on Blair himself called ‘The Blair Switch Project’.

DROP, a technically-driven accessories company that has focused exclusively on the design and development of snowboard-specific gloves for more than fifteen years, is known in the industry for its quality product, design aesthetic and innovation in technology. Blair joins the rest of the brand’s 2015/16 team roster, including Chris Roach, Dylan Alito, Romain De Marchi, Sean Black, Marty Robertson and Mark Hoyt.
