SEATTLE, Wash. (March 3, 2014) –

Designed to improve the skills of advanced beginners through experts, the Pink Chase Tahoe is a fun and adventurous day of instruction for skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers. New for this year, due to increased interest, will be a co-ed advanced/expert group that will allow guys the opportunity to join the cause. The day of adventure will finish with pink clad participants performing together to create the ultimate skiing flash mob!

With prizes for top fundraisers from K2 and GoPro, a free raffle with loads of gear and demo ski equipment provided by Bobo’s H2 Demo Team, this event is not to be missed.

“The generosity of our sponsors along with the spirit of the participants truly makes this a one-of-a-kind event,” said Alyssa Clark, K2 Skis’ Marketing Coordinator and Women’s Ski Team Manager. “It’s great to see so many skiers and snowboarders come out every year to improve their on-snow skills while raising awareness and funds for those battling breast cancer.”

After more than a decade of bringing women together by designing and building innovative women’s products and leading fundraising and awareness events, the K2 Alliance continues to raise money to help those affected by breast cancer. This year, Pinnochio’s Mom’s on the Run, a Nevada-based non-profit that assists women touched by cancer, will also receive a portion of the proceeds raised through this unique event.
