I’ve said it before, but having Sage as one of snowboarding’s ambassador to mainstream media is essential in promoting our lifestyle in a light that is authentic, real. The Oakley superteam lives on.

Today, Oakley announced the signing of first ever slopestyle snowboarding gold medalist, Sage Kotsenburg, to a multi-year partnership effective immediately. Sage will ride in Oakley goggles, outerwear and helmets, and wear Oakley eyewear and lifestyle apparel off the hill, in the head-to-toe partnership.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sage to the Oakley family. Sage embodies the Oakley brand as an athlete looking to push the limits of what is possible,” said Cuan Petersen, Oakley’s Vice President of Sports Marketing. “For decades, we have created industry leading eyewear, goggles, outerwear, and most recently helmets, for some of the most recognized snow athletes in the world. Sage is at the forefront of snowboarding. He made a global name for himself at the 2014 Winter Olympics becoming the first ever slopestyle snowboarding gold medalist. Following the Sochi Olympics, Sage received numerous accolades including, Male Olympian of the Sochi Games voted by Team USA and the ESPY for Best Male U.S. Olympian.
