Snowboard Garden Festival

Snowboard Garden Festival is a celebration. It’s not for a particular event, or achievement, but rather for the love of a lifestyle countless people share around the world.

Organized by volunteers and a small team of passionate individuals, the festival is an experience meant to be shared. If you live in France, or are looking for a perfect excuse to cross the Atlantic, book your tickets around October 13th to the 15th. It will most certainly get rowdy.

Get all of the details at Gardenfestival.fr and look for updates on the festival’s Facebook page.

Official release from the organizers:

One week before the opening of several French resorts, Snowboard Garden Festival event will screen 15 movies from some of the best international productions—past participants have included Absinthe, Videograss, Pirate Movie Productions, Almo Film, and more—introduced by the riders and filmmakers themselves. Not to be forgotten, films from the local European scene will also be showcased alongside headline films.

The Village is an interactive experience made up of brands, resorts and activists that will offer live art shows and presentations. The public can check out the latest innovations for the coming winter and may participate in all activations, such as: snowboard demonstrations, pumptrack, miniramp, Burton Riglet park, and more.

And last, but not least… parties! Bar and food trucks will be staples of each evening, along with live shows throughout the afternoons. Rock, electro or hip-hop bands will take the stage for a three night celebration of snowboarding, winter adventure, and great times with the homies.

Last year, in a new venue, the 5th annual Snowboard Garden Festival was a blast! Upwards of 25,000 people and more than 60 pro riders are expected to attend the event that has become one of the largest festivals dedicated to snowboarding. Snowboard Garden Festival remains free before 8pm, followed with a small fee of 5€ after that time.

Enough talk. Let’s get this event going!
