The Lonesome Billies are a gang of guitar pickin’, country punk singin’ guys out of Portland, Oregon. They rock. For their next album, It’s Good To Be Lonesome, the Billies are in need of our help to make it happen.

Meet the Billies in Soundboard: The punk rock honky tonk of The Lonesome Billies

Here’s the official statement from The Lonesome Billies:

If you dig our tunes and enjoy our live shows, please help us by spreading the word to everyone you can. Parents, grandparents, neighbors, co-workers and anyone who may be interested in good old fashioned, feel good music. We have put a lot of time and energy into creating the best possible music that we can, and we are so proud of it and excited to share it with you.

It’s going to be a great one.

Supporters can receive a bunch of fun stuff, depending on the contribution amount. Every contribution of $10 or more will get a digital copy of the album as soon as the campaign is funded for example. That’s an entire month before the album release date. There’s also limited edition vinyl test pressings, t-shirts, and even a “Queens of Country” reward where we’ll dress in drag and perform classic country songs by Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and more.
