The 5th incarnation of Snowboard Garden Festival takes place on the 15th, 16th and 17th of October in the Palais des Sports, Grenoble, and revolves around the village and activity area, film screenings, and concerts. Snowboard Garden Festival marks the start of the season in the heart of the Capital of the Alps bringing people together from all four corners of the snowboard world before winter officially kicks in. In 2015, we expect to reach 25.000 visitors over the 3 days.

Grenoble surrounding’s have already been covered with snowflakes. Snowboard Garden Festival is a good opportunity for local ski resorts to come down to the city and announce to boardsports lovers that winter is kicking in.

Chamrousse, Alpe du Grand Serre, Les 2 Alpes, Villard de Lans, Corrençon, Lans en Vercors, Autrans, Méaudre, Les 7 Laux and Allevard will be among us to celebrate the upcoming winter. The resorts will bring a glimpse into winter and activities for all : pumptrack, trampolines, parkour…

Brands, clubs and associations also joins the festivities: Salomon, Rip Curl, Volcom, XSories, Oakley, Skullcandy, Picture Organic Clothing, K2, Ride, ThirtyTwo, 686, Burton,
Rossignol, Völkl, Lib Tech, Racer, Furlan, Toyota Grenoble, Snowsurf, Act Snowboarding, Templeton, Ecole du Ski Français, Grenoble Université Club, Slash Ecole de snowboard, ANENA, Kastel Bags, Chillboard etc…

That adds up to almost 40 exhibitors coming together at Snowboard Garden Festival.

Hosted by one of the hypest French riders Victor Daviet (Almo Film, TransWorld Snowboarding), the Film Festival will screen a selection of the best snowboard productions the community has to offer. You will be blown away by the quality of the productions that will whet your adventurous spirit just before winter. As your host, Victor will present the videos and the riders.

France national snowboard team will also participate (Arthur Longo, Clémence Grimal, Mirabelle Thovex and Johann Baisamy), as well as Cécile Hernandez, member of France parasnowboard team.

Alternating with the Film Festival will be some DJ sets and concerts. The music programme is sharp and meant to warm up the wintery atmosphere. 3 nights, 3 themes: electro Thursday, hip-hop Friday and rock’n’Roll Saturday. Emerging artists as well as experienced ones will relay to give energic performances.
Great bands, DJs and collectives will show us a good time : Black Strobe, DJ Fly Vs DJ Netik, Carton-Pâte Records, Orgasmic, Last Train, Little Tune, Le Bonk, LEOPARD’Ale and PJY + CLARK CABLES.

Snowboard Garden Festival is nothing without its volunteers and the riders who always pull off a show. The visitors will discover a one-of-a-kind band. LEOPARD Ale is a band initiated by the pro-rider Olivier Gittler who got together with his friends and ex-Snow Garden volunteers Timmy Moulin-Allenet and Oliver Clugnet. Together, they bring to life old school Hip Hop beats that will get the crowd going!
