New Lift Construction in Telluride

Got invited out on Oct. 1st by my favorite ski area to watch the helicopter drop the towers for the new Revelation Lift. The new lift drops riders off at the top of the formerly closed Revelation Bowl at an elevation of 12,570 feet which many have gazed at from the rope-closure atop of the Gold Hill Chair for years. Expected to be open for the 2008-2009 season, the Revelation Bowls offers a wide-open, above-treeline, steep 800 vertical-foot drop heading towards the scenic Bear Creek Drainage.
