Academy Snowboards threw the second annual CA$H for KIDS contest at Hyland Hills on New Year’s Eve.  Our plan with this event was to make a new and creative set-up for everyone to have fun and win some money to bring in Y2012. We had over 85 people competing and were able to give out a lot of money, an Academy Snowboard, and a ton of other products including gift certificates to my favorite tattoo studio Evolution Tattoo!

The weather started off windy, gray, and icy but turned out to be sunny and warm as the day went on. Kids were doing some sweet new moves and chucking for that $ and the Academy Snowboard! We were able to give out over $650 throughout the contest. Lots of smiles and good times were had!  Thanks to all the judges, the Mertes Demo Crew, Ryan Taylor Photography, parents, and the staff at Hyland Hills for making it happen!
