Bad Gastein Double SBX Scratched Again
Bad Gastein, Austria - For the second time, organizers were forced to cancell a pair of snowboardcross World Cup events slated for Bad Gastein due to lack of snow. Originally planned as the opener for the SBX World Cup season on Dec. 20-21, the races were scrubbed and rescheduled for Jan. 8-9, then cancelled again when sufficient snows still had not been received. The World Cup for SBX will now open Jan. 25-26 in Leysin, Switzerland immediately following the World Championships set for Jan. 14-21 in Arosa.
