When the first snow falls, everyone is stoked. Winter is back after what seems like an unsurmountable time of warm weather. People are back in The Bone Zone, hiking early season and building more excitement. When the lifts start turning, it’s on. All of a sudden you’re riding fast and life is going downhill again.
Zeppelin Zeerip and I met early at the Park’n’ride to carpool to Brighton. Since we first opened the car doors in the morning till we closed them at the end of the day the wind was howling. Making 25 degrees feel even colder. But because you were able to strap into your board this becomes easy to ignore. It is still early season with limited terrain, but a recent storm provided fresh snow to have fun all day.
