ATLANTA, July 31, 2013 – Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) will add new nonstop seasonal service to Aspen/Snowmass, Colo. with daily flights from Atlanta and Saturday-only flights from Minneapolis-St. Paul, effective Dec. 21, 2013.

Aspen/Snowmass is one of the top skiing destinations in the world, offering more than 5,000 acres of snow-covered terrain as well as world-class lodging, dining, nightlife and arts.

With its new service, Delta is the only airline to offer daily nonstop service to Aspen/Snowmass from the Southeastern U.S. Combined with Saturday-only service from Minneapolis-St. Paul, the flights will provide convenient connecting opportunities through two of the world’s largest hubs.

The new service will be operated by Delta Connection carrier, SkyWest Airlines, using a two-class, 65-seat CRJ-700, featuring nine First Class seats and eight Economy Comfort seats. Customers will have access to in-flight Wi-Fi as Delta operates the largest Wi-Fi-equipped fleet in the world, including all Delta Connection two-class regional jets.
