BURLINGTON, VT (February 27, 2013) – DROP®, the leading snowboard-specific glove brand, is proud to announce the re-signing of Sean Black and the addition of Marty Robertson and Mark Hoyt to its pro team. These riders join Simon Chamberlain, Romain De Marchi, TJ Schneider, Dylan Alito and Kevin Griffin to make up DROP®’s Pro Roster.

Salt Lake City native Sean Black, aka The Face, has cemented his presence in the Snowboard world over the last few seasons. He consistently conveys a strong work ethic, dedication to the sport and quirky sense of humor which shines through in all media coverage and his iconic Think Thank video parts.

Marty Robertson has been part of the DROP® program since the early 2000s and has rightfully earned his spot on the pro roster. Originally from Scotland and now riding out of Mammoth, CA, Marty has shown that perseverance pays off. After suffering a near career-ending injury in 2011, he remained dedicated to rehab and was back riding far earlier than doctors could have predicted. Marty is now riding harder and progressing in the sport faster than ever, with no end in sight.

DROP® rider Mark Hoyt has seamlessly progressed into pro success. In just a few seasons, Mark has gone from a local Breckenridge namesake to an international podium mainstay. He’s also been a major standout at recent Snowboarder’s Superpark sessions, being one of only a few of riders throwing clean triples. Having recently made the move to South Lake Tahoe, CA, Mark will be taking his tech skills to bigger and gnarlier terrain.

“We couldn’t be happier with how well rounded the current team is. Our crew really represents all aspects of snowboarding, from the seasoned vets to the groms, the streets to the backcountry and the podiums to the video parts, which is what we about; snowboarding, in any way, shape or form.” Chris Gougeon, senior designer.Find out more about all DROP® team riders and the 2012/13 collection at www.DROPMFG.com.
