DYE Optics announces the latest addition to the DYE Pro Team, signing David Carrier Porcheron, better known as simply DCP. DCP joins Bjorn Leines, Dan Brisse, Aaron Biittner, Markus Malin, and Ville Uotila to make up the Pro squad representing the DYE on a global scale.

DCP is known for charging natural terrain and technical lines with style and fluidity. He is widely recognized as one of the best riders of all time, and has a deeply ingrained love for snowboarding transparent to anyone who has watched him ride or shared a moment with him. The partnership of DYE and DCP compliments David’s pursuit of constant improvement, of seeking new adventures, and the fundamental need to have high performance equipment built for the harshest conditions on the globe.

“I was hyped when DCP approached us as a rider. He’s a guy I have watched elevate snowboarding year after year. Like every guy on the DYE team, David’s a snowboarder through and through; he travels the world living a lifestyle completely shaped by his snowboarding, and by his friends. His positive attitude, high standards for equipment, and love for the sport compliment the core values of Dye and our focus on manufacturing the best products we can.” –Joel Kramer (DYE Team Manager)

“I am very grateful to be teammates with guys like Bjorn, Brisse, and Biittner. To be part of a new brand that’s growing is something I am stoked on. As with Yes, the Northface and my other sponsors, I want to help develop top grade products and help grow the brands however I can.” – DCP

After finishing 5th at the Red Bull Ultra Natural in Baldface, it is obvious DCP is still at the top of his game. He’s been out filming with Yes, Sherpas Cinema, and Transworld. After a few more months riding pow, you can find David chasing waves in Central America. Also, look forward to a new pro model DYE CLK goggle coming soon.
