MOVEMBER IS BACK!!!
San Clemente, California – November 2011 Electric started their Movember journey @ the Bondi Bar in San Diego, CA. in 2007, the year Movember branched out to the US. This started as a grass roots event spear headed by Bruce Beach and Josh Hartley in their support of the Aussies and Movember’s mission statement: To change the face of Men’s health. Since that small event in San
Diego, Movember has spread widely across the nation and the rest of the world raising over 170 million last year.
This year Electric has become a promotional campaign partner and is raising awareness and $ for Movember in 2011 through its creation of specific Movember products, (goggles, sunglasses and accessories) as well as spearheading a company, industry and retail participation in 3 gala parties, NYC, LA and SF.

The ‘Mo’, slang for moustache, and November come together each year for Movember. Each Movember we challenge men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The moustache is our ribbon, the means by which we raise awareness and funds for cancers that affect men. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, our commitment is to grow a moustache for 30 days. Funds raised benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG.
