Joining in on the tech game, Oakley introduces the Airwave goggle that integrates Recon Instruments’ Heads-Up Display (HUD) technology. Along with a new frame shape, the Airwave utilizes GPS and Bluetooth connectivity to seamlessly integrate cutting edge electronics with Oakley’s world-class optics.

The heads-up display gives you the ability to track your speed, altitude and vertical along with your jump analytics to see how big, or small, you’re going. Additionally, you can track your friends and yourself at over 600 resorts worldwide and hook up your goggles to your smartphone via Oakley’s Airwave app (available on iOS and Android in December), giving you access to incoming calls and texts.

The all-new frame shape is a medium-to-large fit, unisex goggle offered in two colors shown below. Initially, the Airwave will be offered with a black iridium and fire iridium lens with a range of accessory lenses in a variety of tints available down the line. The goggle also features Oakley’s Switchlock lens system, making it incredibly easy to drop in a new lens if the weather takes a turn.

Available October 31, the Airwave comes with a sticker price of $599.99 and will be available at Oakley retailers, oakley.com and apple.com.
