From March 22cnd to 24th: Total Fight Snowboard
An outstanding line-up for an unforgettable weekend

 

Andorra’s Grandvalira is about to face its best edition of Total Fight 2012 yet, the most ambitious contest in the Pyrenees, considered a reference in the European freestyle scene.
Total Fight Snowboard, the most relevant snowboarding contest in southern Europe will take place from March 22cnd to the 24th. Three days of freestyle and an outstanding line-up for this 4 star TTR World Tour contest that takes place at El Tarter Snowpark, already known as one of Europe’s best slopestyle courses.

Grandvalira has prepared an outstanding program of day and night activities, Friday’s Slopestyle contest at El Tarter Snowpark being the major highlight. On Saturday night, all the riders will gather at the parking lot of El Tarter for a spectacular Jibbing contest around the main stairs rail and the anticipated San Miguel Night.

Total Fight is an international invitational contest where the world’s best riders gather to enjoy an excellent riding and relaxed atmosphere. In snowboarding, names such as:

KIM RUNE HANSEN. Norway’s Burton star. 2nd place in World Quarterpipe Championshiops.

VILLE PAUMOLA, Finland. 4th in the BEO, 3rd in the La Molina World Slopestyle Championships, 10th in the workd Slopestyle ranking. Sponsor: Quiksilver.

VILLE UOTILA, Finland. 3 times winner of the Total Fight.

NUUTI NIEMELA Finland. 8th in the Slopestyle World ranking, Sponsors: Smith, Union Bindings

VALTTERI PAUNONEN. Finland. Winner of the Burton Rookie Tour, second of the past edition of Total Fight.

CLEMENS SCHATTSCHNEIDER, Austria. One of the few riders that have the privilege of riding at the Oakley Air Style de in Beijing, hosted by Shaun White. 

JOACHIM KROGSTIE. Norway. Burton´s new talent. He’s on the top 15 Slopestyle World ranking.

QUERALT CASTELLET. After ending 2nd in the World Half Pipe Championships in Oslo, this Red Bull rider is set to show off his skills.

RUBÉN VERGÉS, Catalonia’s local rider, part of the Protest global team will try to win the Total Fight Master of Freestyle title.

NICO FUENTES, one of Argentina’s best riders, sponsored by Salomon, always ends top 5 at the Total Fight, he’s one of the favourites for this year’s edition.
