The weather made for a killer final day on the course as we saw some of the best amateures around throw down on the famed X Games venue.

Molly Wilson took home the coveted artist series boom box, skullcandy headphones and $1,500 cash for first place. The Aspen local was super excited to be able to show off her skills on the X Games course as she showed her technical prowess on the top two rail features and finished off with a huge backside 3 on the money booter.. "The course was pretty tight yet pretty fun. The speed was there wich made for a great day of competition," concluded Molly.

Afte the ladies charged, the 19 men took to the course showing that they could compete at the top level. From huge methods to double cork 10s, the men showed up to throw down.

First place finisher Mark Hoyt took home $5000 cash as he put down the most technical, consistent run of the day. Slaying the top section rail features Mark follwed up with a cab 9 into a fronside 7 and finished with a huge double cork 10 on what the announcers dubbed "The Hammer."

All day the men seem to be having issues with the second kicker. "I had a lot trouble with the second jump going way to fast," notes Mark. "I went big on it multiple times throughout semi-finals and practice this morning. So I adjusted for the speed and it worked out really good."

Congrats to all the athletes who competed at the Aspen Open. We look forward to seeing what you guys have in store for us in the future.
