KnappSacks by Buck Products: A simple, stylish backpack for summer

Nine times out of ten, the backpacks that pass through the Snowboard office are decked out with gizmos, gadgets, bells, whistles, hydration systems, etc. For the extreme adventurer, these techie packs are a must-have. But not everyone desires such a pack. Cue the one time out of ten that something different comes along.
This week, we got our hands on a KnappSack by Buck Products. These simple and stylish packs come from a workshop in downtown Bozeman, Montana, where East Coast native Alex Buck sews and crafts sack after sack for his ever-growing clientele.
Whether you order online or drop into the workshop to see the craftsman at work, you've got a handful of colorways to choose from to customize your look. At $80 (plus shipping) you're looking at a fair price for a trendy item that's sure to instill jealousy in friends and passersby alike. Once you place an order, Buck anticipates a turnaround of two-three weeks.
The rolltop backsack—although it doesn't appear to be too big on your back—is extremely spacious on the inside. In the words of Buck, the packs hold a "cubic buttload" and are "wicked tough." Whether you're trekking to the beach with towels and toys, or headed for the hills with extra layers and picnic items, or marching to class with loads of riveting biology textbooks, the KnappSack's got you covered.
Also, KnappSacks are reportedly growing in popularity in Japan, so you know they're legit.
