Leap year babies stay free on February 29, 2012 at Mammoth Mountain lodging properties

On a day that doesn't commonly exist—February 29—Mammoth Mountain Ski Area's lodging properties thought it only fitting to offer a room rate that doesn't exist, valid only for Leap Year babies. Anyone born on February 29 can stay free that night at one of four properties, allowing leaplings to celebrate both their birthday and the new snow at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area.
Leap Year babies can celebrate their real birthday in style at one of four participating properties:
Mammoth Mountain Inn, Juniper Springs Resort, The Village Lodge and Tamarack Lodge and Resort. After all, if a birthday only comes once every four years that's even more reason to celebrate it in a special place. In fact, thanks to the relaxing alpine environment, leaplings will leave feeling a quarter of their age.
The free room is good only on the night of Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Guests must make reservations by calling 800.MAMMOTH. When checking in, a valid ID showing a February 29 birthday will be required.
