Near Canada, USA (August 22, 2013) – All spring and summer in Near Canada, USA, Lib Tech’s Bitchin’ Board Builders have been krafting new snowboards for the 2013/2014 winter season— Milling wood in their core shop, wet laminating each board by hand with Lib’s secret formula of eco epoxy, pressing with their self-made formblocks, grinding, sanding, drilling, polishing, and waxing, all to have their award winning, environMENTAL, experiMENTAL, hand-built in the USA snowboards ready to ride when the snow starts falling. Thanks to these Bitchin’ Board Builders, Lib Tech snowboards are now available in retail stores. And thanks to the Lib Tech Webmonkeys the 2013/2014 line-up can be viewed online at the newly launched lib-tech.com!  The newlib-tech.com is now responsive, so you can view from your desktop, or sitting on the chairlift from your mobile, or tablet.  Webmonkeys have added new product filtering in order to find the Lib Tech snowboard for your exact needs!

New boards to the 2013/2014 line-up include: the Hot Knife C3 BTX, Mark Landvik’s new directional board Brando by Lando, and Travis Rice’s new twin tipped powder punishing ATV, the T.Rice Speedodeeps BTX, which is part of the Lib Tech fundaMENTAL series, an exclusive series of boards available at core retailers.

C3 BTX, Lib Tech’s latest most aggressive contour quickly became a favorite of 90’s camber traditionalists and neo-traditionalists alike with Jamie Lynn’s Phoenix Series and the Hot Knife which was early-released in limited numbers late last winter. This year Lib Tech also added C3 BTX to the Dark Series which turned it Darker. C3 BTX is a camber dominant profile with subtle elements of Lib’s revolutionary Banana Tech geometries and Magna-traction. Offering even more edge hold than standard camber when engaged at high speeds, yet still lets the rider manipulate the board’s pressure map through the Banana contour between the feet for catch free maneuverability. The worlds best camber snowboard is a Banana!

The award winning TRS: Total Ripper Series XC2 BTX has been enhanced this year by taking it’s C2 contour to the power of X.  With a shortened Banana between the feet and lengthened camber underfoot from Lib’s original C2 geometry, the XC2 creates increased tip to tail pop and contact. Lib Tech’s XC2 shows that a shorter Banana can be Xciting!

Lib Tech’s full line-up of snowboards is the product of innovative experiMENTAL board design, and environMENTAL board building.  All part of the process to bring you the most radical designs in snowboard manufacturing!  Awards winning boards like theBurtner Box Scratcher BTX, Travis’ full line up of T.Rice’s including the T.Rice C2 BTX Split, the Attack Banana EC2 BTX, La Nina MC C1 BTX, and the Skunk Apes, and are made with collective energy 30+ years of board building and riding snowboards.

At the end of the day, after all the Bitchin’ Board Building Kraftsman need a change of clothes!  For that Lib Tech has a new line of Nudity Prevention gear, accessories and helmets!
