2011 Mt. Baker Banked Slalom

The Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom. It's a race, through gates, I mean it says slalom right in the title of the event.

Sure it's a race, but this race is as much about hanging out with your friends at one of the best mountains in the world as it is about winning. You don't want to be late for your run, but it's not like you just wait around at the top of the course.

Freeriding all day with the knowledge that if you do miss your run it will cost you a bottle of red wine in the start shack is one thing that makes this race one of the best.

Don't take my word for how great it is up there, go for yourself. Whether you are in the race or not you will likely have the time of your life.
