My Favorite Photo with Dean “Blotto” Gray

Like most snowboarding photographers will tell you, it’s difficult to pinpoint your favorite ‘one’ photo from an entire season of documentation. Every trip offers its own set of variables, disappointments and missed opportunities, but these same missions produce unreal footage, moments you never thought possible and something that is never ending in our world: FUN.

Thinking of what we all do for a living, the word fun comes to mind in just about every sentence you speak. So my favorite photo represents not so much one particular image from a specific trip, but an image to sum up what happens day in and day out for every one of us dealing with weather, bad snow, good conditions, injury, getting kicked out, first tracks, next level snowboarding, comradery and the randomness of it all.
