GoPro wins 2013 Technology and Engineering Emmy Award

No surprise here. GoPro has won a 2013 Technology and Engineering Emmy Award in the category of inexpensive small rugged HD camcorders. The award, which was presented last week in Las Vegas, was for GoPro’s groundbreaking HERO3 camera technology that has enabled television production professionals to capture engaging perspectives that have never before been seen.

GoPro Founder and CEO, Nicholas Woodman, accepted the Emmy on behalf of the company stating, “An idea is just an idea unless you have an incredibly talented team of engineers who can make it a reality.”

Good on ya GoPro. Keep the innovation coming!
