OPENS TODAY, NOVEMBER 24th AND REMAINS OPEN AFTER THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY WEEKEND

(Donner Summit, CA) – With some of the best Thanksgiving skiing and riding conditions that Sugar Bowl Resort has seen in over a decade, resort management has updated their early season operating plans. While original schedules called for a midweek resort closure after the busy Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Sugar Bowl will now open for the 2010/11 season on November 24th, and remain open for skiing and riding straight through spring.

Lifts scheduled to operate on opening day are White Pine, Flume, Jerome Hill, Christmas Tree, Nob Hill, Disney and Lincoln Express. Opening times will be subject to weather and conditions, with ski patrol on mountain to ready a significant amount of terrain for skiers and riders. The Judah chairlift will open on Thursday, November 25th, with a decision on Summit Chair to be made on Wednesday. For the latest updates on terrain and lifts, please visit sugarbowl.com
