Park City opening day to include 20 jibs & a solid jump

Park City is ready to open tomorrow, November 19 for the 2011/2012 season – including a full terrain park setup. Check out the gallery to see the park crew in action as they set up the park for opening day.

The park crew has been hard at work to bring you 20 jib features and one good sized jump to get your opening day kicks on. Not only is the park going to be looking prime but they will be opening Quicksilver and lower 3 Kings for some good ol' fashion runs (see below for full trail openings).

Those dedicated enough to claim First Chair on 3 Kings in the morning win not only bragging rights, but a special limited edition “I Ride Park City First Chair 2011” t-shirt. There will also be free donuts and beverages available in the Resort Plaza, and the guys at Monster Energy will be passing out drinks near the 3 kings lift.

Also, keep your eyes peeled for details to come on Cobra Dogs’ grand opening: it’ll feature several PC All Stars on-site signing autographs, a DJ courtesy Skullcandy and hopefully some great weather to sit on the deck and enjoy the 3 Kings Terrain Park goings-on.

Trails:

  • Homerun
  • Treasure Hollow
  • PayDay
  • Quicksilver
  • Lower 3 Kings
  • Turtle Trail
  • Silver Hollow
  • plus the Resort's new "Learner Zone" which includes two conveyer lifts
