I don't get out to Baker often but I have always looked at that boulder field and thought to myself, "Damn. . . that would be so cool to ride that. Someone should take a picture. but seriously think of the consequences and there's just a layer of sloppy wet snow over rock." Everyone ponders if it really is rideable.
Props to those guys for nutting up and crossing the Nooksack and getting it done with style and making it a reality. And thanks for the behind the scenes write up. That seriously made my day.
