The newly resurrected Sims Brand of snowboards has an X-Games Gold Medallist representing their gear. (And no doubt... Steve has a paycheck to back up his amazing riding.)
Today... the company he ACTUALLY rides for (Collective Licensing International) was purchased by Payless Shoe Source

Riders that represent paychecks (I.E Really Really Big Ones in this case.) and not you the end consumer or snowboarding in general are not to be trusted. Even if they did win the X-Games on a custom made deck that has a Sims logo on it....
