Spot Digger: Find the best snow & skate spots around the world

This past week some big names in snowboarding and skateboarding have come together to launch Spot Digger – the app for finding the best snowboard and skate spots around the world.

Originally founded by Eero Ettala and Fredu Sirviö, the Spot Digger app is backed by an impressive global team of pro riders that uses location based technology to let users search, find, share and rate the best snow and skate spots around the world as well as add their own spots to the mix.

Super easy to use, users can search all spots on a map or view them in a list as well as search for specific locations filtered by distance, name, rating and type keeping you in the know no matter where you find yourself in the world. Once at a spot, users can check in, add photos, rate and add info about the spots they have visited.

Want to know where your friends or favorite pros are shredding? Simply check the news feed to see what’s happening at spots near you and around the world.

Spot Digger’s team consists of some of the best riders in the world including: Eero Ettala, Mark McMorris, Aaron Bittner, Fredu Sirvio, Halldor Helgason Eiki Helgason, Heikki Sorsa and skateboarders Madars Apse, Jaakko Ojanen, Simo Makela, Jesse Turunen and Pirkka Pollari with more coming soon. Also, you can stay up to date with what the team is doing and where they are shredding with daily blog posts through the Spot Digger app.

Spot Digger is now available on Android here and will be available on iOS January 2nd.
