SPY X Airhole collab on The Raider Goggle

Airhole and SPY Optics has joined forces to bust out a new, oversized cylindrical goggle: The Raider. With Scoop vents and a bonus lens, the goggles boast a traditional Hawaiian shirt print,  raised 3D patches on the goggle strap, a custom SPY + Airhole lens logo, matching red Spectra™ lens, and a bonus low-light persimmon lens.

“The Raider was created for those who enjoy vintage design mixed with modern-day oversized technology,” says Juliette Koh, SPY product director. “Simply put, the Raider’s minimalistic design has every technical feature you need in a goggle with a bonus balaclava supplied by our friends at Airhole for extra stealthy style and functionality.”

All the details regarding the collab provided in the press release, below:

CARLSBAD, Calif.—Always a fan of powder plundering, SPY® has HAPPILY teamed up with Airhole, the original facemask company, to launch the Raider—an oversized cylindrical goggle featuring massive Scoop® vents and a bonus lens to provide pure pleasure to your dome without messy face shots slowing you down.

Founded by professional snowboarders Kale Stephens and Chris Brown, Airhole Facemasks provide the protection you need from Mother Nature while bringing fashion to your face. Knitted by hand using antibacterial fabrics and featuring their patent-pending breathing hole, Airhole Facemasks are not only practical and fashionable; they’re fun and functional too.

“SPY and Airhole share the most important principals of shredding, so our collaboration was a no-brainer,” says Airhole Joel, Airhole Facemasks sales manager. “The new Raider snow goggle combined with our lightweight Airhole balaclava offers full protection while keeping your hole unobstructed for breathing, talking, drinking and whatever else you do with your mouth.”

Swathed in a traditional Aloha Hawaiian shirt print, the SPY + Airhole Raider features raised 3D patches on the goggle strap, custom SPY + Airhole lens logo, matching red Spectra™ lens, and a bonus low-light persimmon lens.

Custom built from a flexible polyurethane frame, the Raider features the patented Scoop® ventilation system, anti-fog cylindrical dual-lens system with anti-scratch protection, a free bonus lens, triple-layer Isotron™ face foam with moisture-wicking Dri-Force™ fleece, silicone-ribbed strap, 100% UV protection, is available with SPY’s Flight™ Strap and is helmet compatible with the most popular helmets on the planet.

Hitting friendly faces this week, MSRP for the Raider ranges from $95 to $140 and is available in over a dozen colorways. All Raider snow goggles include a free bonus mirrored or persimmon lens.
