Calling all winter filmmakers: Coldsmoke is in search of the best in winter film talent.
If it’s on snow, anything goes. Coldsmoke is looking for the next big film; any winter genre of any length, or any language is welcome, and both amateur and professionally produced films are accepted. Selected films will be in the running for a cash purse as well as piles of gear and equipment, which will be awarded live at the Coldsmoke Awards on January 18th 2014, in Bozeman, MT.

The 2014 Coldsmoke Awards is now open for entries. All submissions for standard entry due Oct 15, 2013. Final deadline is Oct 25th.
The Coldsmoke Awards is the definitive celebration of winter film and the culture surrounding it. By creating a collective space for innovative artists, community leaders, and those inspired by life in the mountains, Coldsmoke is a launch pad for filmmakers to gain notoriety and exposure.

Coldsmoke Winter Film Tour
The Winter Film Tour is the traveling extension of Coldsmoke. Selected films have the opportunity to be included in the tour, gaining even more exposure at these live events. In the spirit of the Winter Culture, Winter Film Tour stops are much more relaxed than traditional film festivals. Patrons are immersed in the newest and hottest in winter film while kicking back and celebrating the winter season with friends, industry professionals, live music and libations.
Coldsmoke People’s Choice Online Contest
The Coldsmoke People’s Choice is an online venue for filmmakers to attract the attention of the masses. Designed to give a film as much exposure online as possible, the win- ner of the popular vote takes home a $1000 cash prize. Friendly competition is certainly encouraged, as Coldsmoke and its partners actively promote this contest incentivizing view- er participation with gear and trip giveaways. Filmmaker’s have the option to enter this contest or just enter into the Coldsmoke Awards. The People’s Choice contest will be active for
8 weeks, starting Nov 1st and ending Jan 1st, 2014. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be presented live at The Coldsmoke Awards on Jan 18th in Bozeman.
