South Lake Tahoe was treated to a unique contest this past Saturday, April 6th, at Heavenly which blended high level snowboarding and the wild casino life that South Lake is so well known for into the first High Roller Hold ‘Em.

The invited rider list was stacked with heavy hitters such as Mark McMorris, Chas Guildemond, Eric Willet, Sage Kotsenburg and Ulrik Badertscher. The twist on the contest format allowed riders to play hands of poker to determine the tricks to be performed on the course.

Shaun White hosted the packed venue along with Keir Dillon as the master of ceremonies. In the end, Chas Guldemond played his hands right and stomped all of his tricks walking away with $25,000 followed by Gjermund Braaten in second and Eric Willett in third. It was another great event on a perfectly gorgeous night in South Lake Tahoe.
