The stories will not have thumbnails if they were not featured on the old site. When we switched over the old site to the new one the majority of the photos were through photobucket and the accounts did not exist anymore. So if it was not a feature on the old site it will not have a thumbnail on the new site.
As for the RSS feed. Every profile has an rss icon when they are on their profile page. It's located to the right of the header bar containing the different types of content that user has posted. If you click it you will see the feed. The path for this will be http://snowboardmag.com/feeds/user/"your username"/feed.
