Crowley Lake, California is where John and Eric Jackson call home, and the sleepy town set in the peripheries of Mammoth Lakes is where Eric and his brother not only found snowboarding, but also fell in love with the outdoors. As a rebellious upstart under the wing of the raucous Grenade Gloves crew in the early 2000s, Eric was a pipe phenom who was well on his way to snowboarding celebrity but before long, the solitude of the surrounding Sierra range’s terrain came calling, and Eric wilfully transitioned his skill set away from pipe walls and park jumps and instead opted to ride more backcountry booters and blower pow. Since then, E-Jack has become one of the most prestigious off-piste luminaries in professional snowboarding, and he’s just getting started. After his breakout season two years ago, Eric has his sights set on deeper snow, further locales, and ultimately, taking his riding to a whole new level, and in his WELCOME documentary, E-Jack goes into much more detail about how his career has come to be.

“Eric is the life of the party. Always stoked, musical, very knowledgeable in the backcountry, incredibly strong and always striving to learn.” Jake Blauvelt

“I can be lazy and get by or I can really be motivated and really have self discipline and make sacrifices and get up early and go snowboarding … and that’s when you get the rewards.” Eric Jackson
