Ashbury: Don’t Try – Nick Dirks

Our 'Don't Try' video series is a series of moving-portraits & interviews that represent our Team Rider's unique set of personalities.

The series is inspired by the Charles Bukowski poem "Style."  In the poem he states, "Style is way of doing. A way of being done. A fresh way to approach a dull or dangerous thing. Doing a dull thing with style is preferable to doing a dangerous thing without style. To do a dangerous thing with style is what I call Art." – Charles Bukowski

These short films offer the viewer a collection of individual perspectives that when combine together create a portrait of Ashbury's sensibilities as a whole.
