Kevin Backström and Tor Lundström are back with the fifth episode of the 2013/14 edition of BYND x MDLS. This month, the boys head out to Utah and score some powder, hit up a street spot and finish up in the world class park that is Park City.

If we’ve learnt one thing from the BYND x MDLS series, it’s that if you’re a well-rounded enough rider to be able to send it in powder, the streets AND the parks, it makes for much more entertaining snowboarding.

Kevin and Tor are both blessed with this ability, and whether it be chucking doubles in the backcountry or back-lipping rails in the streets, they’re able to keep it stylish and make it look fun at the same time. These ‘do it all’ snowboarders seem to be somewhat of a dying breed these days, and it’s refreshing to see dudes that can ride everything.

In this episode, Kevin and Tor are joined by Brendan Gerard and head out to Utah, where they session a crazy-fun looking butter box to stepdown feature in the backcountry before keeping it more traditional on some cheese wedges and a hip.

Once the snow goes to shit it’s off to a street spot before hitting up the green rails and perfect booters that litter the slopes of Park City. How’s that for a well rounded trip?
