Perhaps one of the sickest parts from Travis Rice’s The Fourth Phase is the return of the backcountry double jump line. It reminds us of movies like POP, or Afterbang, where a crew would not only take the time to build two booters, but would film it all on 16mm film. Not only was the process insanely time consuming, but it requires riders to perfectly execute both jumps in order for a clip to be useable, therein making double jumps infinitely gnarlier than their single counterparts. Pat Moore is no stranger to the old days of filming, and he certainly hasn’t lost his touch with age either. In this sneak peak from the film, Pat flawlessly laces back-to-back sevens in the Wyoming backcountry. Pat’s style has always been at the highest caliber and his riding in The Fourth Phase is no exception. This is the kind of snowboarding and filming that we want to see more of.
