Friday presents: Hel of a Time— A winter with Helen Schettini, Episode 1

Round one of Helen Schettini just tearing it up in the backcountry. Sledding and shredding, Helen is  badass in every sense of the word. It’s one ‘Hel of a Time,’ no doubt.

‘Hel of a Time’ is a web series about the highs and lows of being a female big mountain snowboarder. Helen has been sledding in the backcountry for 7 years and couldn’t ask for a better job. Her childhood dreams have become a reality, but it doesn’t come without sleepless nights due to stress from previous scary situations or the anticipation of new ones to come. The backcountry world is a dangerous one and mother nature sometimes bites back. It feels like a man’s world out there, but Helen is pushing to make room for women too. Follow Helen in her 4 part web series.
