Helen Schettini used to be a halfpipe rider but after being plagued with injuries and ending up with metal rods in her legs. I could stop riding pipe too. Fortunately Helen discovered the backcountry six years ago and hasn’t looked back since. Her full part from 2014 is chocked full of huge cliff drops in the Whistler backcountry, pow slashes and Japanese pillow runs with an ender that is formidable to say the least. Helen Schettini sends it and she is a tremendous ambassador for women’s snowboarding.
