Utilizing a handbuilt course that is part slalom track and part skatepark, Bowls and Banks is an event that offers a good timin’ platform for anyone with a fundamental capability on a snowboard. It is the antithesis of the televised circus that the masses so often associate our sport with. The Japanese event is well aligned with the philosophies that the Gentemstick brand is built around, so it is no surprise the Gentem crew is a driving force behind its existence.

The WRKSHRT boys out of Jackson, Wyoming have a knack for taking the level of cinematography usually reserved for energy drink-funded, helicopter-accessed riding and applying it to simplistic and attainable snowboarding. Let this video serve as proof.
