Katie Ormerod stomps first female double cork 1080

A relatively unknown Katie Ormerod out of Yorkshire, England has landed the first female double cork 1080 at only 16-years-old. What makes this incredible is by the definition of a double cork, Katie’s trick is true because she added the extra 360 into the flips rather than the underflip variation that has previously been landed. However, what makes this particular trick special is how she executed it with pure style and confidence. Be on the watch for young Katie Ormerod this winter, she’s going to be doing huge things in women’s snowboarding.
