Lucas Debari is in the upper echelon of people reconstructing the traditional thought of what can be accomplished in the snowboarding backcountry. Shaped by the legends of the Pacific Northwest like Craig Kelly, Jamie Lynn, Temple Cummins and the Mount Baker Hardcore, Lucas saw the glacier he wanted to ride in Greenland and did everything in his power to make it happen. From riding one of the steepest pillow faces we’ve seen to a Greenland expedition of massive unridden lines, Lucas Debari is climbing the the throne of big mountain snowboarding royalty.

Inspired by one small, pixelated photo of an unknown peak in Greenland, Lucas Debari made it his mission to plan the perfect expedition to this unidentified glacier. Mica to Greenland follows Lucas and Johnny Collinson as they prepare for the trip of a lifetime shredding powder in the backcountry of Mica, British Columbia, before joining Hilaree O’Neill and Ralph Backstrom in pursuit of Greenland’s most epic peaks.
