Pacific Northwest shred Nick Ennen knows his way around the backcountry as well as anyone so while most would look at this 80-foot Montana cliff and only gawk, he charges this beast with confidence and precision.

From Funner Snowboarding’s YouTube:

Nick Ennen went to Cooke City, Montana with the Wildcard crew and photographer Jordan Ingmire a while back. Nick was riding down a gnarly face when he ended up going about 80-100 feet off the hugest cliff in the area. Jordan worked his photography magic and they ended up with the photo in a issue of Transworld Snowboarding.

This video looks behind the scenes at what Nick’s feeling as he drops down the face and approaches the edge of the larger than expected drop.
