Chris Grenier is a personality. Both on and off the snow, Grendies is there to get some shots, have a good time and probably make you piss your pants from laughing. As one of Massachusetts’s finest, Chris took the snowboard industry by storm with his fluid ability to flow through the heaviest urban shit and make you realize he’s having a damn good time doing it. From one of the best switch backside lipslides of anyone around to the high octane backyard antics in his new home of Salt Lake City, Chris Grenier is one of snowboarding’s best. Here’s what he had to say about filming for Videograss’s 2010 releaseĀ Bon Voyage.

What was the best part about filming that year?
I stayed healthy, and didn’t get hurt. I got to ride more powder than I ever have before.

Did you have more fun riding golf carts or snowboarding?
Snowboarding. The golf cart does a number on your back when you jump it.

Do you have a good story from one of the trips?
The winter just blends into a big blur of shit but some standout crazy moments were watching my friend break his femur in the backcountry, watching Jed [Anderson] break some guy’s nose, watching a snowmobile burn to the ground, watching Will Lavigne get hit by a truck, watching Frank April and Louif Paradis film X Games Real Snow, and all in all having an awesome time. Thanks snowboarding.
