Shaun White and Heikki Sorsa have a long history together, but their careers have forced them to drift apart from one another in recent years. Fortunately Oakley brought them back together for a reunion its newest film, Snowboarding: For Me and they killed it for some solid pipe doubles.

As for the rest of the film, I reviewed it when the tour came to Denver and there are many elements of the film that serve snowboarding in a great way. It reflects on its historical significance, how many of these riders grew up together and snowboarding took each one of them in a different direction. Heikki and Shaun are the perfect example, Mikkel Bang and Kazu Kokubo are another, though their friendship is mutual. I recommend that you watch the full movie, which has the feel of a documentary over a traditional snowboarding film and comes at a pivotal moment in time where we can look back and see where we came from to help determine where we’re going.
