Merriam Webster defines a plaza as “an open area usually located near urban buildings and often featuring walkways, trees and shrubs, places to sit, and sometimes shops.” Following suit, the Snowmass Rail Plaza would be defined as “an open area located near the base of a ski resort featuring closeouts, downbars and flatbars, places you probably shouldn’t sit, and sometimes picnic tables.” We’re more down for the latter than the former.
